The People Who Shape Us

Just like a magic wand creates wonders, the story of our birth is also a magic wand that has created a pool of people who support, guide, motivate or criticize us. You start your life and from the very same day you are surrounded by people. Family, relatives, family friends and then your own friends, affairs, professional friends, clients, employees, boss, customers and many more; it’s all ‘people’ who are around you. They shape our society and moreover, our perceptions and thoughts.

The essence of people is very much important in one’s life. Either they break you or make you. In the journey of life you encounter a lot of people. Some change your life to make it better while some change it in an adverse way. At the same time some are not bothered at all, while, for some you are least bothered. Perhaps all these people are part of your journey and they shape up your life.

Being a student and a business enthusiast trying to put forward success and wellness into business, there are three distinct kinds of people I meet every day. First, the group of people who are the well-wishers, who try to mentor and make me much better and put efforts in me to make things happen. They love me! They want to see me having everything I wish to have, not because they want anything from me, but because they simply feel happy seeing me grow. Also they let me know whenever I am wrong and correct me critically.

Second, the group of people who are least bothered about whatever I am involved in. We are good for each other at times of mutual work and mutual benefit. And then their presence fades away. These are the professional links that I have.

The third group of people are those who do not like my work or have a not so good feeling towards it. These people do not show up, however they are manifested by the way they talk to you and by their attitudes towards you in your achievement.

The brief distinction of these people are “THE PROUD OF YOU” people, “GIVE AND TAKE” people and “WHY HE?” people.

However, they all inspire, motivate and encourage me to do more. The people who are ‘proud of me’ always guide me and give advice, stand by me giving strength to keep working on my vision. The ‘give and take people’ are there to support me when I need them or when they need me. This teaches me that, one needs to give away something to get something and this is what I use in my business. The people under ‘why he’ category are there to pinpoint my mistakes and correct the defects in my work which help in making my works much better. I am totally benefiting from all the kind people I have along with me.

What do I feel about people? People for me are always important. Certainly, I know the category of people they fall into. I treat all of them with the same humbleness. The other great type of people that I did not mention earlier are the people who aspire me to do a lot of things. It is always my privilege to support my friend circle and colleagues to dream more and achieve more. It gives me immense pleasure to see people around me grow. What I assume is when all of us grow and we become much stronger. When attitude, aspiration and dreams of someone matches mine, I try to support them wholeheartedly to the extent I can.

I have never forgotten and will never forget the people who have put efforts on me to make me more desirable and step ahead day by day. It is not merely my dedication and effort in making my endeavors grow, but it’s these people who have been with me.

It is relevant in today’s scenario on how people forget the deeds of those who have helped them grow and reach the position they are today.
