Public holiday tomorrow for President Bhandari’s India visit

Kathmandu, April 16, 2017: The government has announced for public holidays on Monday and Friday to mark President Bidhya Devi Bhandari’s state visit to India and her return home respectively.

The cabinet meeting held on Sunday endorsed the proposal of Home Ministry to give public holidays.

Bhandari’s state visit to India is being held at an invitation of Indian President Pranab Mukherjee.

The government had also declared a public holiday on the day Indian President Pranab Mukherjee had visited Nepal last November.
