Kathmandu, February 13, 2018: The Rockstart Impact program is set to terminate its 100 days of execution by conducting Rockstart Impact Demo Day on February 15, 2018, at Soaltee Crowne Plaza, Kathmandu. Nine highly potential entrepreneurs will be pitching to investors in Kathmandu, Amsterdam, and London so as to mark the culmination of the program.
The objective of the program is to support high potential entrepreneurs and link them to domestic and international growth capital. As many as 200 applications of various enterprises had been submitted out of which Godam Sewa, Indradevi Strawberry Farm, Kanjirowa Agro Farm, Khadka Nursery, Mount Everest Organic Coffee, Rudyn Agriflora, Sarathi, Tripathi Group and Urban Girl had been chosen as the companies for the 100 days acceleration program. These companies will now be pitching to investors in Nepal and Europe. At the end of the program, the nine entrepreneurs will be ‘investment-ready’ and have a clear vision and understanding of how they can really grow their business in a sustainable way.
An accelerator program focusing on bridging the gap between entrepreneurs and impact investors, Rockstart Impact, has accelerated 29 companies and raised over 3 million Euro as investment pledges for 21 companies since its inception. This program is managed by One to Watch, a fund management company based in Nepal specializing in investing in the missing middle and Accelerator Nepal, a not-for-profit company with the primary objective to support the development of an entrepreneurship-friendly environment in Nepal.
