Kathmandu, July 22, 2018: Ms. Sunita Danuwar, the executive director of Shakti Samuha Nepal, shared her life inspiring story filled with lots of hardships and struggles highlighting on the fact that strong will power determination and hard work are key to success on July 21, 2018.
Dibyabhumi Multiple College organized an interaction program on “Challenges and Opportunities of Social Work Profession in Nepal” on July 21, 2018 at the college in Kupondole, Lalitpur with the active participation of social work experts, academicians and the students. The renowned Social Workers involved in different social organization have expressed their opinion and thoughts over the scope of the social work studies in Nepal.
Mr. Raj Kumar Mahato, CEO of BHORE Company, an organization working in the sector of early child marriage and dowry system in the Terai region of Nepal talked about the widening scope of social work studies in Nepal. Similarly, the other speakers of the program Pradip Pariyar, Executive Chairperson of SMATA Foundation, Santosh Acharya, Program Manager of SABAH Nepal, Tilittam Poudel, President of JCYCN , Piyush Shrestha, faculty member of Dibyabhumi Multiple College , Rishi Raj Adhikari, president of rotaract Club of Kathmandu North and Dr. Inwha Lee, Professor of Korea National Sports University spoke about the significance and relevance of Social Work studies at the present time.
