Sarlahi,15 Dec 2014: The District Police Office (DPO) has arrested three persons on the charge of their involvement in detonation of a powerful bomb at Mangalawa-based District Land Survey Office last year.
The arrested are Panilal Pandit, 35, of Pipariya VDC-9 and Kamal Prasad Yadav, 20, and Naresh Raya, 35, of Pipariya-7 in Rautahat district, said Superintendent of Police at the DPO, Suresh Basnet.
Basnet said that the detailed information along with pictures of the arrested would be provided within a few days as investigation into the case was underway.
A joint team from Janakpur Zonal Police Office and District Police Office, Sarlahi arrested them, he added.
They were arrested on the charge of blasting a pressure cooker bomb inside the Survey Office on September 13, 2013.
A total of eight people including officer at Survey Office, Nagendra Raya Yadav, and service seekers were injured in the incident.
