Tourism Entreprenuers donate to Bir Hospital Cleanliness Campaign

Kathmandu, May 30, 2018: A total of 42 tourism entrepreneurs have come together to make a donation of a little more than 8 lakh rupees to the Bir Hospital Cleanliness Campaign. 

On the celebration of 11th Everest Day on Tuesday, the sum Rs.815,230 that was collected from the entrepreneurs was handed over to the president of the Dhurmus Suntali Foundation, who have taken an initiative to organize the cleanliness campaign.   

Speaking at the ceremony, Sitaram Kattel aka Dhurmus, president of the foundation, said that his team had started cleanliness campaign to keep old hospital alive. He also added that a total of 4.7 million rupees was already invested in the campaign so far.

Dhurmus-Suntali Foundation have successfully established settlements for the people who lost their their shelter to natural disasters like earthquake and flood. Apart from that, the foundation was super-active in their relief activities during 2015 earthquake and last year flood in the Terai.
