NTA has developed ‘NTA QoS Survey’ for the purpose of collecting users’ perception on Mobile Quality of Service
Kathmandu, June 18, 2017: Most of us mobile phone users have complaints of one form or the other. Be it overcharging for the services by the telecom operators, or the disturbances in communication, or even the lack of network and services in our area.
In case the telecom companies are not hearing and responding to your complaints, you can now easily share your problems to the telecom regulatory authority, that too using smartphone app.
Nepal Telecommunication Authority (NTA) has recently launched an app named ‘NTA QoS Survey’ to collect such information from the users and issue guidance to the telecom operators for improvement. The app will measure the quality of telecom service in Nepal, and experience of mobile phone users here.
“It is the duty of NTA to ensure the telecommunications services delivered to users is as per the benchmarks prescribed by NTA. We are thankful to the users responding to the questions asked in this app,” says NTA in the ‘About Us’ section of the app.
Sharing his feedback about the app, Sabin Tamrakar, one of the user says accolades NTA for coming up with such an app. “Good Initiation for measuring the quality of service (QoS) based on users’ feedback,” he writes reviewing the app on Google Play.
Similarly, Bishnu Pandey expresses hopes that NTA will take steps forward after getting suggestions from the users.
