Kathmandu, July 1, 2018: The Zonta Club Kathmandu Executive Board 2018-2020 led by President Zn. Meera Jyoti is participating and representing Nepal in the Zonta International 64th Convention in Yokohama, Japan from June 29 to July 3, 2018.

Immediate Past President Zn. Shreejana Rana carried the Nepal flag during the opening and flag parade ceremony. The Zonta Club Kathmandu’s Sanitation project was selected to be presented for ‘share your story’ at the convention. Sanitation project is the Club’s effort to end violence against women by building toilets in rural areas for school girls. To add to the accolade, Zonta Kathmandu also received the membership award for enrolling maximum number of members for the biennium 2016-2018.

The convention was participated by over 2,200 Zontians from 67 countries. The delegates for the convention are Zn. Meera Jyoti, President; Zn. Shreejana Rana, Immediate Past President;Zn.
