Kathmandu, June 13: In order to express the final respect late Padma Sundar Lawoti, who was a body of Rastriya Prajatantra Party Nepal parallel central committee chairman was kept at Khulamanch in the capital this morning.
The 76-year-old leader and former Minister passed away in course of treatment on June 10. Final tributes were expressed by Speaker Subas Nembang, former Prime Minister Lokendra Bahadur Chand, CPN-UML Chairman KP Sharma Oli, NC leader Kul Bahadur Gurung, leaders Prakash Chandra Lohani, Ramesh Nath Pandey, Dirgha Raj Prasain, Biswabandhu Thapa, Rajeswor Devkota, RPP Nepal Chair Kamal Thapa and various other political leaders and MPs during the occasion.
According to Saraswati Shrestha of the party the mourning procession will begin from gwarko and Lawoti is to be cremated as per Kirant traditions at Pashupati Aryaghat later today.
