July 05, 2015: There comes another trouble for Sunny Deol’s Mohalla Assi before its release. A court in Bihar on Saturday directed the authorities to file an FIR against actor Sunny Deol, director Chandra Prakash Dwivedi and writer Kasinath Singh, saying their movie “Mohalla Assi” hurt religious sentiments of people.

Advocate Sudhir Kumar Ojha filed a complaint alleging that the trailer was full of curse words, it hurts religious sentiments of Hindus and maligns the image of Varanasi and its traditions, reports Huffington Post.

The court of Additional Chief Judicial Magistrate Ramchandra Prasad, after hearing the complaint case filed by advocate Sudhir Kumar Ojha, directed police to file a first information report (FIR) against the three people and other actors who had roles in the movie.

Earlier, a Delhi court too has issued an order to restrain release of Mohalla Assi after a similar complaint was filed by Sarvajan Jagruti Manch, a local organisation in Delhi.

Mohalla Assi stars Sunny Deol and Skashi Tanwar in lead roles. The movie is directed by Chandra Prakash Dwivedi.
