Chautara,2 Jan 2015: Fire destroyed two houses at Jalbire-9 in Sindhupalchowk district Thursday night.
According to the District Police Office, the fire destroyed houses of Khadga Bahadur Shrestha and his brother Dil Bahadur Shrestha.
The fire started from the house of Khadga Bahadur was doused after around three hours with the support of police personnel and locals.
Property worth Rs 2.260 million including Rs 1.170 million belonging to Khadga Bahadur and Rs 990,000 belonging to Dil Bahadur was gutted in the fire, according to the preliminary report of police.
The victim families are taking shelter at their neighbours’ houses, said police.
