Fire In Jute Mill Damaged Property Worth 3.5 Million

Biratnagar, 28 Nov 2014: Property worth Rs 3.5 million was gutted after the Biratnagar-based Raghupati Jute Mills caught fire on Friday.

The fire that reportedly originated due to short circuit caused a damage of around Rs 3.5 million burning raw material and finished products into ashes, according to District Police Office, Morang.

The mill workers, local people, Nepal Police brought the fire under control with the help of a fire engine within 50 minutes.
