Kathmandu, September 21, 2018: Federation of Nepalese National Transport Entrepreneurs Association (FNNTEA) has demanded the government to drop down its recent decision of hiking the fuel prices.

The FNNTEA has also alerted its counterattack by refusing the bookings of the bus tickets for Dashain from September 23. The federation has manifested its discontent at the continuous price hike without the proper adjustment of the public transportation fare. The president of FNNTEA, Yogendra Karmacharya mentioned that the government’s decision for hiking the fuel price contradicted the transport entrepreneur’s demand for reasonable transport fare revision.

From Tuesday, the price of petrol and diesel has been raised by two and three rupees per liter respectively by the Nepal Oil Corporation.
