Kathmandu, Oct 12: 18th SAARC SUMMIT is scheduled to be hosted by Nepal on 26-27 November 2014 in kathmandu. Minister for Foreign Affairs Mahendra Bahadur Pandey reached Dhaka this afternoon to extend invitation on behalf of Prime Minister Sushil Koirala, to the Prime Minister of Bangladesh to participate in the SAARC Summit.
Hari Kumar Shrestha, Ambassador of Nepal to Bangladesh received minister Pandey today. Meanwhile, Bangladesh Foreign Minister, Mr. A. H. Mahmood Ali, is hosting a Dinner today in honour of Minister Pandey.
The Minister for Foreign Affairs is scheduled to hand over the invitation to Bangladesh Prime Minister tomorrow afternoon. He will also meet his Bangladesh counterpart tomorrow afternoon, and extend invitation to attend the meeting of SAARC Council of Ministers in Kathmandu on 25 November. Minister Pandey is leaving Bangladesh for Bhutan to extend invitation tomorrow.
