Damauli, 7th February, 2015 : Foreign nationals have provided the support of Rs 3 million to a local Siddhabeni Lower Secondary School of Vyas Municipality in order to construct a two-room building and to purchase computers and equipments for science lab.
Derek and his wife Marz
ena from Holland, and Markku Koski and Mina Mario from Finland provided the support to the school.
School Principal Shuk Bahadur Rana said that 50 mini laptops were brought and two room-building constructed with the support provided by the foreigners.
The assistance from the foreigners came to the school with the initiative of ex-students and trekking guide Indra Pariyar, according to the school.
Moreover, the donors assured of further support in different areas.
