FORMER PM NEPAL STRESSES ON USE OF PHULBARI-BANGLABANDH ROUTE

Kathmandu, September 19: Former Prime Minister Madhav Kumar Nepal has stressed on use of Phulbari-Banglabandh route to increase the trade volume between Nepal and Bangladesh.

At the Walton Launch Program Agenda organized by Rida Incorporated in the capital city on Friday, the former prime minister said sales of produces of both coutries would be accessible in the markets after the operation of the Phulbari -Banglabandh route.

He said that the route should be brought an operation soon for bilateral trade promotion.

On the occasion, State Minister for Home Bangladesh Asaduzzaman Khan said they were ready for joining hands together with Nepal for bilateral trade expansion.

Likewise, Ambassador of Bangladesh to Nepal Miss Masfee Binte Shams said both the countries should be serious to harness the chances of trade expansion between.

She was of the view that both the countries should move ahead together for hydropower and tourism promotion.
