Gorkhabazaar, 27th January, 2015 : The District Police Office, Gorkha, has arrested four persons for teasing and misleading police with wrong information by dialing telephone number 100.
Police Inspector Reshamlal Regmi said that of them, two were from Gorkha, and one each from Lamjung and Dhading. Further investigation into the case is underway, he said.
Regmi said that four persons have been charged of teasing police personnel by calling repeatedly at 100 as it free to call at 100 from mobile or landline telephone.
Those arrested are Sangita Uparkoti of Gorkha Municipality-4, Suk Bahadur Bishwokarma of Kerabari-2 in Gorkha, Kumar Bishwokarma of Gaida VDC in Lamjung and Rita Lama of Dhuwakot VDC in Dhading district.
Search for others was underway, added police. Preparation was underway to release the arrested under the condition of not repeating the mischievous act, said Regmi.
