Kanchanpur, July 25: Police have arrested a person for looting Rs 800,000 by impersonating as a bank manager.
The Ward Police Office, Mahendranagar, arrested Krishna Prasad Subedi from a local hotel and confiscated Rs 670,000 from him.
Police Inspector Pushkar Bahadur Chand said the fraud had taken the money from Tendi Sherpa of Nepalgunj, saying he was a manager at Kumari Bank.
Further investigation is on with the arrest of the fraud, he added.
