A career workshop is going to be organised by Glocal Pvt. Ltd. at King’s College, Babarmahal, to bring a new approach to look through the career challenges.

This programme seeks the participation of students from the higher secondary level (+2/A-Level) and recent high school graduates.

The participants will have the opportunity to hear and learn from various gigantic personalities in town!

Introduction Session – Anil Keshary Shah (11:00am – 11:45am)

A boost up session for all the attendees where they shall be hearing about how impactful the decision that they make at this age is!

This session would be like a General Assembly, where every participant would be together.

Know Yourself – Sagar Satyal/Malavika Desai (12:00 pm- 12:45pm)

This session is designed to bring out what the students themselves have thought of them.

  • Their aim in life
  • Their field of interest
  • Why do they want that?
  • (Trainer approach for running activities as in workshop)

Learning methodology – Umesh Shrestha /Arjun Rijal (1:00pm – 1:45pm)

This session would revolve around how the student should learn for:

  • Whatever you do, this is how you learn
  • Better understanding of what they study
  • Real life application
  • Making impact of what they learn
  • (Inclusion of engagement activities alongside)

Career focused – Rajiv Sharma/Prayas Rajopadhyaya (2:00pm -2:45pm)

This session would run to let students evaluate what values more in the market keeping in mind their field of interest.

  • Current scenario of careers in local/international market
  • How one should turn their field of interest into job?
  • Understanding the need of the market

Feedback Session – Narottam Aryal (3:00pm – 3:45pm)

This session is the closing session of the program where students shall be able to communicate and discuss/share their queries.
It would also incorporate the guidance words required for students to stand on their own and decide what they want to.
