Bhaktapur, 3 June, 2015 : A total of 892 locals are provided free health services by running health camps in Changunarayan, and Ashapuri in Bhaktapur by Nepal Army on tuesday.
A team of 17 health workers including doctors, nurses and lab technicians provided health services to the earthquake-hit locals, said NA Colonel Ramhari KC.after undergoing checkups, all the patients were given medicines for free.
In comparison to the males, more women visited the health camps. The patients were given health services like orthopaedic, ENT, eye, gynaecology, paediatric, psychotherapy.
SImilarly, Nepal Army Wives Association distributed daily essentials to 200 quake-hit families in Changunarayan. The quake-affected families were provided with tents, mats, pressure cookers and foodstuffs, said Association’s chair Rohini Rana.
