May 21, 2015: Free internet service has been provided by the MySet Foundation in Melamchi area for a month to access the information efficiently which was lacking due to devastating earthquake.
MySet Foundation Chairperson Sirjan Shrestha said that the free internet service was offered in the area bearing in mind the post-quake trouble in having communications at home and abroad and disseminating news and views and the service that started from May 14 would be rendered free of cost up to mid-June.
Also, MySet representative Ranjit Saha said that the free service was provided thinking that the quake survivors could also utilize the resources available with us at the moment of grief. Further Radio Melamchi’s Station Manager Dev Raj Subedi added that with this the free W-Fi service could be used in Melamchi, Duwachaur, Talamarang and Chanaute.
