‘Girls in Tech’ project started in Province-2


Janakpurdham:  The ‘Girls in Tech’ project has launched in Province-2. The project inaugurated by the Chief Minister of Province-2,  Mr.Lal Babu Raut and Minister for Labor, Employment and Social Affairs, Mr.Rameshwor Ray Yadav.

The project was initiated under the Skills for Employment Programme and the leadership training would be provided to the girls for boosting their confidence and competitiveness. The programme was assisted by the UKAid and has aimed to educate and empower girls to end gender discrimination.

In addition, it helps to create jobs for companies with skilled human resources. The scholarships will be provided to a total of 100 students from economically marginalized families.
