‘Knowledge Maestro – SEE Edition’ by Glocal After School is a 3-days free online-real time quiz competition organized to make SEE appearing students engaged in intellectual activities during the current situation (lockdown). The competition will be held online through a Quiz App & Video Conference hosted by Glocal After School. The competition is initiated by Glocal After School in association with Kathmandu World School.
Knowledge Maestro is an online-real time quiz competition designed to make students engaged in lockdown period. 2 editions i.e. GTH Edition (especially for Glocal Teen Hero Alumni Members) and Young Nepal Edition (for young people aged from 15-25) was organized in past days.
This is the third edition of Knowledge Maestro which is especially designed for SEE appearing students to help them in learning for upcoming examination. The main motive behind organizing competition is to make them prepare for the SEE Examination in an engaging and interesting way. All the questions will be focused on their academic subject.
The competition will start on 8th of May and will conclude on 10th of May with the announcement of 3 Winners.
Winning Prize:

Mr. Asish Thakur, Executive Director at Glocal Pvt. Ltd. shares – “During this pandemic situation, all the educational institutions are closed; students are locked in homes. Especially in case of SEE appearing students, they are confused should they prepare for SEE Examination or will this lockdown extend. They might have been going through the tough situation to make their mind engaged in intellectual activities. That’s why we are organizing this edition for them”.
He added, “This is one of our efforts to put forward students with the belief of We Will Revive from this situation, also we shall be bringing more of Knowledge Maestro editions and other online activities.”
As the competition is organized to help students to boost their preparation for SEE, the questions will be related with their course itself covering the major subjects like Math, Science, Social, Nepali, Health among others.
The competition will have 3 rounds:
- Knockout Round:
SEE appearing students can participate in the competition through the official portal hosted by Glocal After School. This round will have 50 General Questions related to English & Nepali. 24 highest scorers will be selected for the Semi-Final Round.
- Semi-Final Round:
24 selected participants will participate in this round. Participants will get 20 questions related with Math & Social through which best 16 will be selected as the finalists of the competition.
- Final Round
16 finalists will have to solve the 20 questions related with Science. 3 winners will be announced at the end of the competition and will win the cash prize, scholarship at Kathmandu World School along with the certificate.

Competition Criteria:
- Participants should be SEE appearing students;
- S/he should have 2 devices (preferably laptop, mobile);
- Participants should have the ideal network connection; if any disconnection in quiz due to internet happens Glocal won’t be responsible;
