Biratnagar, 2nd February, 2015:Â Â Different types of goods worth Rs 1.23 billion were exported to India through the Biratnagar checkpoint in the first six months of the current fiscal year 2071/72 BS.

A total of 3,358 metric tonnes of betel nuts worth Rs 698.4 million were exported to India during the period. It was the highest amount as compared to other goods, according to the Plant Quarantine Office, Biratnagar.
Similarly, cardamom worth Rs 339.482 million, ginger worth Rs 49.415 million, among others was exported, acting Chief at the office, Ganga Prasad Yadav, said.
