Baitadi, 14 December 2015: All the government offices based in the district are to provide public services to the people in the cultural festival taking place for the first time at Shree Kedar village here.
Coordinator of the cultural festival organising committee, Surendra Prasad Bhatta, said that the District Administration Office, the District Development Committee, the District Livestock Services Office, the District Forestry Office, the District Cooperatives Office, the District Small and Cottage Industries Promotion Office, among others will be providing services to the service-seekers in course of the festival that is being held at local Shree Kedar Higher Secondary School from today.
As part of this, the District Administration Office would be issuing citizenship certificates to those applying for the same while other offices their respective services.
Bhatta added that this was done with the objective of making government services available to the locals at their place so that they need not travel to the district headquarters to avail of the services. The festival will conclude on December 16.
