Gaushala, Nov 3,2014: A government team inspected the Jaleshwor-Janakpur road section, considering the Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi’ visit to Janakpur via land route in course of attending the 18th SAARC Summit.
The team headed by Home Secretary Surya Prasad Silwal comprised Inspector General of Police Upendrakanta Aryal, Chief Investigation Director of National Investigation Department Jeet Bahadur KC and Armed Police Force Deputy Director General Shailendra Khanal.
On the occasion, Home Secretary Silwal directed the Road Division Office Mujeliya to immediately start the repair of the 19-kilometer road.
Mahottari’s Chief District Officer Deepak Kafle was told not to leave any stone unturned to maintain sound security to Modi’s visit.
The team also visited Bhittamod that shares border with Indian town Sitamadhi and interacted with Indian border security forces.
Indian PM Modi is scheduled to come to Nepal to take part in the 18th SAARC Summit via land route (Patna, India to Janakpur). The Summit is going to be held in the capital on November 26-27.
