Bhimduttanagar, January 10, 2016: The Government is busy doing home work to open border transit points in the north at Tinkar of Darchula and Bajhang.
In a meeting with office-bearers of Kanchanpur Chamber of Commerce and Industry in Bhimduttanagar this morning, Minister of State for Finance Damodar Bhandari said the government was working to open the trade points in Tinkar of Darchula and Bajhang. He also said that serious efforts were being made for the development of tourism, industry and other sectors of the far-west.
On a different note, he said that said problem of obstruction at the border points with India would be resolved in a few days, and the demand of the Madhesi front would be addressed with results soon.
On the occasion, the KCCI President Suresh Rawal handed over a memo to the Minister of State demanding opening of the Tinkar transit point with China, constructing concrete bridge over the Mahakali river and establishment of Daiji Industrial sector.
