GOVT MAKING EFFORT TO REOPEN CLOSED INDUSTRIES: INDUSTRY MINISTER

Bhaktapur, Sept 8: The government is busy in final preparations for reopening the state-owned Nepal Drugs Limited.

Taking part in an interaction programme organised by Rafat Sanchar Club here Monday, Minister for Industry Karna Bahadur Thapa said the government is working to revive 10 government industries closed on different pretexts gradually and thereby create employment opportunities in the country.

The Industry Minister expressed his concerns over the ‘indifference’ on part of shareholders of Nepal Metal Company Limited (presently closed) to reopen the company.
