Kathmandu, 15 October 2015: The government has urged the agitating parties to stop their protests and come for dialogue. The meeting of the Council of Ministers held at the Office of the Prime Minister and Council of Ministers today, decided to call the protesting parties to dialogue and the PM will issue a written call to that end today itself.
The government spokesperson and Minister for Law, Justice and Parliamentary Affairs Agni Kharel informed that the dialogue team would be formed under the convenorship of the Prime Minister after holding discussions with different political parties.
Spokesperson of the government Kharel added that the government was holding diplomatic initiations to ease the supplies to Nepal and was also searching for alternative measures.
Similarly, the meeting has appointed Indra Bhandari and Pramod Dahal as the Prime Minister’s personal assistant and press advisor respectively.
The meeting decided to depute and transfer some government employees who were promoted to special class by the former government according to which Kedar Bahadur Adhikari from the Reserve Pool of the Ministry of General Administration (MoGA) will be deputed and transferred to the Western Regional Office in Pokhara as Regional Administrator and Rajendra Prasad Nepal from the Office of the Comptroller General to the Eastern Region Administration Office in Dhankuta.
Similarly, Mahesh Prasad Dahal from the Reserve Pool of the MoGA will be deputed and transferred to the Central Region Administration Office in Hetauda and Mohan Krishna Sapkota from the same to the Mid-Western Region Administration Office. Likewise, the Cabinet meeting decided to depute and transfer Shree Ram Kumar Acharya of Regional Administration Office, Hetauda to the Ministry of Labor and Employment as the Ministry’s Secretary.
Moreover, Surendra Prakash Acharya of Regional Administration Office, Dhankuta is to be deputed as the Chief Officer of the National Vigilance Centre and Bhim Prasad Upadhyaya from the Reserve Pool of the Ministry of General Administration as the Secretary of the Office of the Nepal Trust under the Engineering Service.
