Kathmandu, April 5, 2017: Upcoming Nepali film Happy Days will be released concurrently in countries such as the UK, Australia, and Hong Kong, before it releases in Nepal, the production team announced amid a function held in the Capital on Monday. During the function, the producers also unveiled the film’s official teaser.
Happy Days will see its international release on August 1; the film will hit Nepali theatres only four months later, on December 1.
Happy Days is director Milan Chams’ fourth feature directorial, following Hasiya (2014), Bir Bikram (2015), and the upcoming Blind Rocks, which, the directed informed, is currently undergoing post-production.
Happy Days, the producers have said, is a romantic-drama revolving around a love triangle. Shot entirely in the Great Britian, the film, according to its producers, was made with a total budget of Rs 2.5 crores.
The film features actors Dayahang Rai, Priyanka Karki, Sanjaya Gupta, and Joniya Limbu, in lead roles. Tara Prakash Limbu has given the music to the movie, while the lyrics have been penned by Dinesh Raut and Naresh Bhattrai.
