May 17, 2015: Hundreds of people injured in the earthquake are treated in a health camp ran by the public health federation affiliated to the CPN-Maoist at Singati Bazaar of Dolakha district.
Dr Icidia orthopedics from Japan is leading the medical team. The treatment is being provided with the coordination of the local security persons and the district public health office.
Dipendra Rawal, a journalist in the team said that more than 300 quake victims with fractured limbs, and communicable disease as diarrhoea were treated at the camp and some with serious condition were referred to better places.
The Singati bazaar has turned into debris from where many corpses and cattle are yet to be disinterred which is exhaling the foul smell from the ruins.
