Gorkhabazaar, 7th February, 2015 : Â A health institution has been established at Machhakhola Bazaar of Gumda VDC with an objective of providing health services to the domestic and foreign tourists reaching at northern Gorkha via Manaslu trekking route.
The health institution has been brought into operation with the support of youths, who are in France in curse of overseas employment, said a local Jeevan Gurung.
Not only tourists reaching the northern Gorkha via Manaslu trekking route, but people of 18 VDCs including Gumda, Lapu, Kashigaun, Karauja and Sirdibas have been getting health services after the operation of the health institution.
The modern health institution was established at a cost of Rs 7 million.
Before this, tourists reaching the area were compelled to depend on helicopter during illness.
