Humla, 16 December,2014 : Normal life in Humla di strict has been affected following snowfall since early this morning in different parts of the district.
People in the district are seen huddling around bonfire to prevent possible cold while the government employees have seen
not much of work with very few service recipients arriving.
Meanwhile, no flights were operated to and from Jomsom Airport in Mustang district after the runway was covered by up to four feet of snow. The district has been experiencing heavy snowfall since Monday night.
The Runway has been covered by snow and the high pressure of the wind around the airport makes it impossible for aircrafts to land or take off, said Senior Officer at the Airport Dipak Pokhrel.
Tara Airlines and Simrik Airlines operate flights to Jomsom from Pokhara.
