Kathmandu, 22 December 2017: During these past six years, 80.77 percent of total complaints have been registered in Hello Sarkar, an official portal of the Nepal Government.
Ram Chandra Koirala, Section Officer at Hello Sarkar Office mentioned, “A total of 59,186 public complaints lodged at Hello Sarkar during the period were addressed.”
Hello Sarkar has recorded 67,613 complaints but the remaining 8,427 complaints are yet to be addressed.
Back in 2012, former Prime Minister Baburam Bhattarai had launched this portal into effect due to the upraising problems of the then public. According to the office, 2,586 complaints among them are to be addressed soon.
These complaints have been categorized into high priority, priority and general. By categorizing these complaints into priority orders, the government has been able to address the problems in an effective way.
The problems related to health, development works, employment, education and administration. Hello Sarkar has recently launched a new call center in order to bring efficient solutions regarding the problems faced by the public.
