Kathmandu, December 28, 2016: Himalaya Toastmasters Club is going to organize a Dramatic Duo Speech Contest onÂ December 29th to celebrate its 4th establishment anniversary.
In the competition, teams of two, each from the five Toastmasters Clubs in Kathmandu will come together and deliver a 6-8 minutes long dramatic talk as a duo to compete amongst one another to grab the best dramatic duo prize.
Since its establishment in 2012, the club has continuously been fostering the spirit of learning with fun; and has been given precedence to any other method of learning about public speaking.
On the occasion, the club will also be acknowledging and honoring the mentors and presidents of the club and bringing together every Toastmasters clubs in the town for a grand celebration in the special session.
The event will be held at the Bagaicha Restaurant, Jawalakhel from 6 PM onwards.
Toastmasters is synonymous to public speaking and leadership skills, and the clubs practice the art of public speaking and leadership via peer to peer learning method, and this practice has been prevalent since 1924. In Nepal, there are 5 Toastmasters clubs each of which is dedicated to the spirit of public speaking and leadership. Amongst them, Himalaya Toastmasters Club is one such dedicated club which meets everyÂ ThursdayÂ 6 PMÂ onwards at SAP Falcha, Babarmahal.
