Pokhara, Dec 8, 2014: Gopal Shrestha of Ratnachowk of Pokhara, who is living with HIV/AIDS, plans to summit Mt Everest, the highest peak of the world, in April season in 2015.
It was informed here by organizing a press meet today. “I would be the first HIV infected person among the Everest summiteers if he accomplishes his mission,” Shrestha said.
He has collected Rs 700,000 so far out of the Rs 4.3 million needed for the purpose.
