Sarlahi, Sept. 3: A government hospital in Sarlahi district headquarters, Malangwa, is in sorry state due to inadequate doctors to render proper service to patients.
The hospital, which at least should be equipped with five doctors, now has only two doctors to render service to big flow of patients.
“Only two doctors are running the hosptial”, said Dr Prahlad Adhikari, who is taking charge of chief of Sarlahi Hospital, adding that, “The district hospital at least should have five doctors”.
Dr Adhikari admitted that the hospital has not been able to deliver proper and quality service to patients in lack of doctors.
Chief District Officer of Sarlahi, Durga Prasad Pokharel, said he was approaching concerned agencies including Health Ministry to bring adequate number of doctors in district hospital.
