Kathmandu, May 12, 2015: After Tuesday’s 6.8-magnitude quake, systematic arrangements have made to treat the quake-hit patients the major hospitals in Kathmandu Valley.
The patients has been treating the patients in open space of The Tribhuvan University Teaching Hospital in its open space by categorizing the quake-hit persons into red, yellow and green.
More than 60 injured persons on Tuesday itself and total of 52 patients have been admitted to the Bir Hospital and National Trauma Centre until 8:00 pm today, three have already returned home.
According to Dr Ganesh Gurung, the Vice-Chancellor at the National Academy of Medical Sciences, around 4,000 quake-hit persons are currently receiving treatment in the Trauma Centre.
