Kathmandu, July 20, 2015: The job of people’s feedback collection in the preliminary draft of ‘Constitution of Nepal, 2072’ has started in all constituencies across the nation from today.
Lawmakers and officials would receive the commoners’ opinions in the draft of the constitution in all 240 constituencies today and tomorrow.
A large number of people have thronged the venues concerned including in the capital city from early this morning to provide their feedback in the new constitution.
In Kathmandu, people are providing their suggestions in the new constitution from different areas in all 10 constituencies.
Security situation has been beefed up in the feedback collection centres.
Similarly, the locals gathered in Mansingh Secondary School, Manamaiju, of Kathmandu Constituency-7 have demanded to ensure Sanatan Hindu Nation in the constitution.
They also suggested to ensure reservation policy on the basis of class and end to the provision of selecting the President on lottery draw system, among others.
Meanwhile, some cadres of Rastriya Prajatantra Party (RPP)-Nepal attempted to disturb the task of feedback collection in Kathmandu Constituency-1 by entering into the Dasharath Stadium, chanting slogans just ahead of opinion collection.
However, the feedback collection job is going on after the police personnel took under control the troublemaker cadres of the RPP-Nepal.
