Biratnagar, Sept 13: Police have seized a huge amount of betel nut that was being smuggled to India.
Eastern Regional Police, Biratnagar, said 1,200 kilogram betel nut was seized from a poultry farm of Jyoti Yadv in Siraha Municipality-1 on Friday night.
The seized betel nut would be submitted to customs office, it is said.
