ICC U-19 Cricket World Cup: Nepal to face India for group title

Kathmandu, January 31, 2016:The Nepali youth cricket group which booked its billet in the quarterfinals of ICCU-19 World Cricket Cup after around 16 years is confronting India in the last match of the class bunch stage.

Nepal will play India at Khan Saheb Osman Ali Stadium situated in Faltullah, Bangladesh tomorrow. Both groups have secured their place in the quarters-finals of the competition unbeaten and will now seek the gathering title. In ‘Gathering D’ of the competition Nepal is as of now in second position taking after India who lead the gathering in light of a superior run rate. The last match will choose the gathering champ.

In the primary match, Nepal beat test-playing New Zealand by 32 runs and enhanced it further with a triumph over Ireland by eight wickets in the second match. India excessively crushed Ireland by 79 keeps running in the main mach and New Zealand by 120 keeps running in the second match. New Zealand and Ireland both in ‘Gathering D’ are as of now out of the competition with two loses each.
