Kathmandu, March 13, 2017: Nepal has 156-run target to accomplish in a do or die match against Kenya in their second game under the ICC World League Cricket Championship underway at the TU cricket ground at Kirtipur.
Kenya, who were sent to bat first after losing the toss, made 155 runs losing all their wickets in 46.1 overs.
Sharad Bheswakar of Nepal took four significant wickets to limit the visitors, Kenya, to an ordinary score. He conceded 28 runs while bowling at 7.1 overs.
Similarly, Mehabub Alam and Basanta Regmi took two wickets each while Sagar Pun and Sandip Lamichhane took one wicket each.
Collins Obuya made the highest 48 runs with the help of seven fours for Kenya followed by Irfan Karim 38 runs with three fours, RR Patel 21 runs, NN Odiyambo 15 runs and Karan Kaul 14 runs.
Nepal is in the sixth place with a score of six while Kenya has 10 points and in the fifth place from nine games in the ICC World Cup qualifiers.
