Kathmandu, August 28, 2016: A four-member delegation from various Indian Institutes of Technology (IIT) are on a visit to Nepal from August 27-29, 2016 to interact with students of Class-XI and XII from various schools, and with the final and pre-final year undergraduate engineering students, to share about the entrance exams, admission procedure for international students, life at various IITs and future prospects.
The IIT Professors will have interactions with prospective students at the Institute of Engineering College, Pulchowk; Kathmandu University, Dulikhel; Rai School, Modern Indian School, DAV School, and KV School in Kathmandu on August 28 and 29 respectively. Embassy of Indiaâ€™s B.P. Koirala India-Nepal Foundation also held a special talk programme for the visiting IIT professors on August 27, 2016 at the Nepal-Bharat Maitri Library, Kathmandu which was attended by many interested students and their parents.
Ministry of Human Resource Development (MHRD), Government of India, provides an opportunity to the meritorious international students to seek admission in the IITs in India.
