The Nepal U19 striker, Anjan Bista has certainly drew eyes of many people with his brilliant game against Sri Lanka which Nepal lost 1-0. The SAFF U19 winner was joint top scorer in the SAFF U19 championship which Nepal won after defeating India in final.
Talking about present, Bista made his international debut in his teen age and even made a place in starting XI. Similarly, he also played 90 minutes leaving the veteran striker Jumanu Rai and Santosh Sahukhala out of the team. On Wednesday’s clash against Sri Lanka, he adjust himself in two different positions. At first he played as striker along with Bimal Gharti Magar and Anil Gurung. However, after Anil’s withdrawal, he was bring back to left winger and he looked more confident at the side. He supplied beautiful ball and made a couple of effort on goal.
Therefore, in the last match against India, which is do or die for Nepal Bista could be our important weapon which should be used in very wiser way.
