Kathmandu, 18 September 2105: Foreign Secretary of India S Jaishankar has arrived here today on a two-day visit to Nepal as the special envoy of Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi at a significant time of promulgating a new constitution.

He is scheduled to call on President Dr Ram Baran Yadav at his office in Shital Niwas today itself.
Similarly, Secretary Shankar will separately call on Prime Minister Sushil Koirala, CPN (UML) chair KP Sharma Oli, UCPN (Maoist) chair Pushpa Kamal Dahal and senior leaders of Madhes-centric parties as well.
According to Abhay Kumar, Chief of the Press and Cultural Department, Embassy of India, Kathmandu, the visiting Secretary Shankar will hold discussions with Nepalese leaders about the current political development.
