Indian State Ministers call on PM Oli

New Delhi, February 22, 2016: Indian State Minister for Power Piyush Goyal, and State Minister for Ayush Shreepad Yesso Naik, have separately called on Prime Minister K P Sharma Oli at the residence of Indian President, today.

Issues related to bilateral ties, mutual interest and different sectors of cooperation were discussed in the meeting, it is learnt.

On the occasion, PM Oli thanked Indian government for offering him a warm welcome and urged the State Ministers to find out possible sectors of co-work for the development of energy in Nepal.

Also present on the occasion were Deputy Prime Minister and Minister for Foreign Affairs Kamal Thapa, Home Minister Shakti Basnet, Finance Minister Bishnu Poudel, PM’s political advisor Bishnu Rimal, Nepal’s Ambassador to India Deep Kumar Upadhyaya and Indian Ambassador to Nepal Ranjit Rae, among others.
