India’s largest Technology Incubator in Hyderabad

India, September 6, 2015: The country’s largest technology incubator is still in process. Ratan Tata, chairman of Tata sons will inaugurate the technology incubator centre: the “T-Hub” in Hyderabad on 7th September, 2015. The first phase of the T-Hub is spread over 60,000 square feet and can accomodate upto 800 start-ups.

The second phase has a built-up space of 300,000 square feet is expected to host upto 5,000 start-ups and will be ready by 2018. Some prestigious institutions such as IIIT Hyderabad, ISB & NALSAR are partners in the T-Hub incubator. The six-storey building is part of the first phase of the Telangana government’s initiative to give a boost to the start-up eco-system in the State.

Laying the foundation stone for the T-Hub in January this year, Telangana Information Technology and Panchayat Raj Minister, K.T. Rama Rao, had said that, “When the facility will be fully functional, is expected to generate employment for 3,000 people.”
