International Youth Summit Nepal commences Second International Youth Conference

Kathmandu, February 18, 2018: With the slogan of ‘Participatory Youth Leadership for Sustainable Development’, International Youth Summit Nepal has successfully inaugurated the Second International Youth Conference in Pokhara on February 17, 2018.

This five-day event has marked the presence of Prof KK Singh, Rafial Alam, and other appointees from Oman, New Zealand, Malaysia, Pakistan, Mexico, Sudan, USA, and others.

180 youths from 20 different nations have joined this event and will be working to develop their leadership development, entrepreneurship, sustainable development goals, safe migration, quality education, world youth partnership and other skills.

Dr. Yubraj Khatiwada, the former Governor of the Nepal Rastra Bank, initiated the program stating that developing the skilled human resource in the world is the need of the present time. Similarly, Madhav Dhungel, the Vice Chairman of National Youth Council, advocated that youths are the change makers on the social, cultural, economic and political environment and hence their collaboration is vital.

The program will run until February 20 and the participants will be trained by specialized trainees.
