Kathmandu: Global South Coalition for Dignified Menstruation (GSCDM) is going to organize the ‘International Workshop on Dignified Menstruation’ in May 2020. The workshop is going to held from May 26-28, 2020 at Kathmandu, Nepal. The theme of the workshop is ‘Dignified Menstruation, Menstrual Talk Dignity First’ that aims to realize the mass that ‘every individual deserve dignity during menstruation’.
Hon. Minister Parbat Gurung informed that researchers, menstrual health rights activists, government representatives and policymakers from several 20 countries will participate in the workshop. The workshop is organised on the occasion of second National Women Rights Day which is celebrated in the 16th of Jestha every year.
On the occasion, Minister Gurung committed minister for promotion of dignified menstruation by eliminating all forms of discrimination, abuses, violence related to menstruation.
