International Youth Conclave 2018 (IYC 2018) Concluded

Kathmandu, December 20, 2018: International Youth Conclave (IYC 2018), which was held in Kathmandu, Nepal, on Dec 14-16, 2018 successfully concluded. The event presented a common platform to, all young leaders, innovators, peacemakers, youth activists and civil society pioneers from around the globe to encourage themselves in understanding global issues and its policies, share their perspectives and knowledge on our global issues with the theme of “Home of today’s and tomorrow’s change makers”.

With 13 countries and 138 participants, the event successfully justified its objectives. On 14th December, international youth conclave (IYC) 2018 was inaugurated by Hon. Pradeep Gyawali, Minister for foreign affairs in Indreni Banquet New Baneshwor, Kathmandu in a high tech way using the robot invented by our youth activist Mr. Bijay Acharya. During the program Mr. Gyawali appreciated the efforts of Nepali youth and believed that the resolutions of the conclave would be valuable. The program was followed by the welcome remarks by Mr. Sachin Dangi, CEO of IYC, appreciative speech by Mr. Rameshwor Aryal, the managing director of KMC Education Network. Similarly, the ambassador of Bangladesh appreciated the involvement of her countries delegates and shared about the mutual relations.

The program was enlightened by the Power Class of Mr. Troyeevan Sarangih, Founder and Owner at Motivatory Indonesia and Troyeebags Indonesia, also with the presence of the growing creators and processors of four diversified companies: UTINDO Creative Works, Motivatory Indonesia, Troyeebags Indonesia, and Optimum Technologies. International Youth Conclave 2018 was attended by DCM of Cuba, Ambassador of Bangladesh and many other diplomatic and international personalities.

Their experience and leadership in the international allowed for critical and insightful discussions at the International Youth Conclave 2018.” commented Abhinav Kumar Chaudhary, Chairman at  IYC 2018. On 15th December, 2018 at KMC National, Balkumari, Lalitpur, IYC 2018 conducted thematic sessions specifically on Climate Change, Good Governance, Youth and Entrepreneurship and Economic Development with speakers and mentors specialized in these sectors.

Finally, on 16th December, 2018, the International Youth Conclave 2018 was concluded with a cultural exchange program at Naachghar Jamal, Kathmandu. With the amazing Panchabuddha dance by the students of EG Pioneer School followed by the dance from Afghani delegates, band performance from Sanskriti Band, the best band from Kathmandu Model College, Bagbazar, different motivational and educational speeches from different mentors and other delightful performances, the evening was successfully terminated by the vote of thanks from Mr. Biraj Aryal, the Managing Director of International Youth Conclave 2018.
